How Often Should You Rotate Your Tires?

Tire Rotation

If you’re like most Connellsville drivers, you want to get the longest life out of your tires as safely as possible. And there are a number of things you can do to accomplish that, like keeping your tires properly inflated, accelerating slowly, and giving yourself plenty of time to come to a gradual stop, so you don’t have to brake suddenly. But another important component of keeping your tires in good shape is tire rotation and balance. You probably know you should rotate your tires, but do you know often you should rotate your tires?

The friendly service techs at Tri-Star Nissan of Uniontown know exactly how often to rotate the tires on your Nissan, and would be happy to help you with that. But for you do-it-yourselfers, let’s talk about how and when to rotate your tires.

How and When to Rotate Tires

Is your Nissan an all-wheel drive, like the Rogue, Altima, or GT-R? Then you will want to leave tire rotation to professionals. Also, how often you should rotate your tires will be different than if the vehicle has a different kind of drivetrain, like a front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, or 4-wheel drive. You should also leave it to the pros if you need both a tire rotation and balance, and you can schedule service with us online to do just that. Otherwise, here’s a handy guide for how and how often to rotate your tires:All-Wheel Drive Vehicles (popular with Pittsburgh drivers)

  • How many miles to rotate tires: 5,000 to 7,500 miles
  • Do not attempt to rotate tires yourself!
