Winter Maintenance Tips for Your Car
Here at Tri-Star Nissan, we believe that a knowledgeable driver is a happy driver. As such, we decided to put together a handy winter car care guide for our friends and neighbors in Uniontown.
Your car battery can often have trouble operating correctly when the weather gets too cold. This means that a battery that is already struggling during the warmer summer months is likely to die altogether when winter comes. In order to prevent this from happening to you, it is a good idea to have your battery tested, and possibly replaced, during fall.
The tires on your vehicle are also incredibly important during winter. Because the roads are likely to get snowy and icy, your regular tires probably won't provide you with the traction that you need to get around safely. As such, you should probably put on a set of winter tires before the weather gets too bad.
